In a press release issued today regarding THQ Nordic’s latest acquisition of a list of IP’s, the publisher confirmed that at least two as-of-yet unannounced projects will be heading to Nintendo’s upcoming hybrid-console, the Switch. “We are excited for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo’s new platform, and already have two other projects in development for it.” CEO and found Lars Wingefors commented, though the publisher stopped short of giving a name to either one of these said projects.
It’s unclear whether or not these are in fact new titles/sequels or may instead be recent remasters getting a Switch port. Some of the more notable IP’s in the publisher’s portfolio include the Darksiders as well as Destroy All Humans series — both of which recently getting their series’ debut titles re-released on current-gen platforms (in the latter case, on PS4 only). At the very least, there are plenty of IP’s to choose from, moreso now given there are three more names in THQ Nordic’s catalog: Sphinx (and the Cursed Mummy) of Mobile Gaming Studios Ltd as well as both War Leaders: Clash of Nations and Legends of War from Enigma Software Productions.
